YOP YOUTH

The YF4S programme is our youth athlete development programme for kids between Years 6-13 (aged 10-18 years), each session is 90mins and runs on a semi-private basis (1:8 youth athletes).

YOP YOUTH Fit 4 Sport (YF4S)


Our long-term athletic development programme ensures our younger athletes are ready for the demands of their sport through a comprehensive programme based on LTAD training principles and methods. 

Progress is monitored and progression is individually paced, with an ongoing feedback process to ensure the engagement and empowerment of our young athletes. 


Our programmes are designed to ensure each athlete develops a robust foundation for their sporting endeavours which in turn reduces the risk of injury and supports them to achieve their goals. 

The YOP YF4S semi-private session format gives our athletes the opportunity to be coached and train with other motivated individuals of a similar age whilst developing individual skills at their own pace. 


The small group format is challenging and fun, exercises are varied and encompasses a broad range of movement-based competencies to improve:

We have three options to choose from to meet your needs:

  • Option 1: 1 fully coached S&C sessions per week – this is if you if you are new to S&C and want to create a good foundation.

  • Option 2: 2 fully coached S&C sessions per week – is for you if you want to take your sporting performance to the next level. Perhaps you want to create a robust platform to develop from or you want to progress your skill base further. 

  • Option 3: Bespoke programme – is the ultimate package created just for you, perhaps you have specific goals in mind, or specific needs.

How much does it cost?

 
  • Option 1: 1 fully coached S&C sessions per week: £66 a month.

  • Option 2: Block of 10 fully coached S&C sessions £165.

  • Option 3: Bespoke programme Contact Us to discuss.

Minimum commitment 3 months paid via the online payment system.

 YOP SPEED FOR SPORT (S4S)

Alongside our Fit 4 Sporting Performance youth development program, we have a running programme for 10-18 years olds. 

Good run technique, speed and the ability to react and change direction quickly are key in performing well in many sports, whether the kids play rugby, tennis, netball, hockey or are involved in cross country, track and field or triathlon, speed is the key. They need to get from A to B faster than their opponent. 

The YOP SPEED FOR SPORT programme will ensure our youth athletes are ready to perform by developing the awareness and skills to run, move well and generate force where it is needed.

  • Reduce their risk of injury.


When are the sessions?

 

Our YOP YOUTH Speed for Sport sessions take place on Thursdays 1800-1900.
